An historic day happens in deep south Texas when christmas magic creates the perfect gift for everyone in the area! Dennis Barrett, who's family owns a lake house near Frank Scotti's BlueJay campsite, but lives on South Padre Island, Texas fully enjoyed this historic event. Many people in the area had never seen snow before, much less had the chance to play in it, improvised sleds were created, snowball fights, and snowmen were everywhere. The snow brought out the little kid in everyone that day, and the next day, only photographs and stories survive as 80 degree temperatures are forecasted for later in the week.
