I've started working on putting together my riding tool kit. It's nice to have tools on your bike, or on your person, because where I ride sometimes, there's just no easy way out .......

I also use the tools in this kit as much as possible for all my shop work, instead of the shop tools, to see what it is I'm missing, then I know what to look for later.

On the way to the Concho Enduro in west texas, we went thu San Antonio and stopped in at Cycle Gear on I-10. I knew I wasn't going to walk out of there empty handed! Shopping online is fine sometimes, but to actually see it and feel the weight, well, I came out with some nice tools, then rode with them on the enduro. They are part of the tool kit now!
spare front tube
rope for towing
sparkplug wrench
sparkplug
t handle wrench (superlight weight)
4 sockets 8,10,12,14
6 in 1 screw driver
tire changing tools
CO2 tire filler
small needle nose pliers (to pull out thorns, etc)
allen wrench
..... and more to come ......
Getting off some bolts with the t handle is sometimes tough and a breaker bar is just what I was looking for and found in my 6 in 1 screw driver!
One end of the sockets of the 6 in 1 tool fits the moose t handle perfectly!

broke the T-handle
and replaced it with a socket wrench

Also, this configuration stresses the socket in the 6 in1 tool till it bent

It also works on the allen wrench!
This comes in quite handy here on oil changes and removing that oil filter cover.
Here is another cool bit of kit ......
found these tire changing tools
very lightweight!
One fits the front axle
and the other fits the rear.

Added a third .......
tire changing in the shop is a pain
and I use three there so ......
22mm for the front
(doesn't fit, so I use a crescent wrench)

27 mm for the rear

I also have this nifty fork bleeder valves,
but they look like they could break off ......
so I carry the originals in a plastic bag, just in case!

more to come ........
